新加坡2015年9月8日電 /美通社/ -- 領先的國際海事出版商兼本活動主辦方 Seatrade 公布第八屆 Seatrade亞洲海事頒獎典禮（Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia）的入圍者名單。54 位入圍者憑借優異表現在各種艱難的運營環境中成功脫穎而出，獲得獨立評審團的一致肯定。
“今年，我們收到了數量龐大的提名與參選申請。”Seatrade 亞洲海事新聞編輯兼評審團主席 Marcus Hand 先生表示，“申請者的質量與表現都非常優秀，完全體現了海事業中特有的堅忍不拔和推陳出新的精神，在面臨挑戰時勇于逆流直上，不斷超越自我。”至今，評審團已收到了將近100份申請，爭奪在12個公開獎類別中的殊榮。
作為亞洲物流及航運會議的合作伙伴活動，第八屆 Seatrade 亞洲海事頒獎典禮將在今年首次于香港物流及航運周同期舉行。這場由國際新聞記者 Sharanjit Leyl 女士主持的頒獎慶祝晚宴將于2015年11月16日在香港會議展覽中心會議廳內隆重舉行，屆時將會在預計有500位海事與物流業界高管參與的正式晚宴中公布獲獎者名稱。此外，當晚的重點還將聚焦于特殊獎項頒獎典禮，當中所涉及的獎項包括了極少數的特定人士才能獲得的 Seatrade 終身成就獎 -- 這項特殊獎項旨在表揚獲獎者在亞洲海事領域內所作出的重大與持久的貢獻。
